Ordering chemicals for research - any trusted UK suppliers?
Hey all, I'm putting together a shopping list of chemicals for some upcoming experiments, and I'm trying to diversify our suppliers a bit. We've been mainly using the same couple of companies for years, but I'm wondering if we're missing out on better deals or faster shipping elsewhere. Quality and reliability are crucial, of course, as is decent pricing. Does anyone have some recommendations for UK-based chemical suppliers they've had particularly good experiences with? Have you considered checking out https://gentaur.co.uk/ I've ordered from them a few times for some of my routine biochemicals, and their service has been pretty reliable. Their online catalog is easy enough to navigate, and they usually have pretty competitive prices, especially if you're buying in bulk. I haven't used them for anything too specialized, but for the standard chemicals every lab needs, they seem like a solid option. It's nice finding a supplier that ships quickly too.
